Growing Up
Ezequiel Rivera was born in The Bronx, New York. He grew up in the church as his father was a pastor of his own ministry. His father was invited to assist and foster churches all around the east coast and the Caribbean. Through traveling Ezequiel was exposed to various types of music, dances, and fine arts. He started attending a Performing Arts school in Fort Myers, Florida for Elementary school. Ezequiel didn't start singing until his final year of middle school in New York attending East Fordham Academy for the Performing arts. Through the years he has found his way doing what he loves and finding creativity in everything he does.

The Spark of Creativity

From a young age, Ezequiel has always been drawn to the fine and performing arts. He started his journey in the fine arts working with acrylic, oil, and watercolor mediums. That later progressed into him finding the love for designing and up-cycling clothes. At least 40% of his closet has been painted, drawn, or altered by himself.
Ezequiel has always had a love for music but kept it to himself for many years until his middle school for the performing arts had open auditions for the spring musical which he played Schlomo Metzenbaum in Fame Jr. Later on in High School he would be make Performing on stage a priority by joining their theatre company and competing regularly in Theatre competitions for the district and state.
Education
As stated earlier, Ezequiel has always had a background in the fine and performing arts. After graduating high school, Ezequiel attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California where he would get his BFA in musical theatre. He studied and was mentored by Mary Gordon Murray, Nick DeGruccio, Tom O'Leary, Kirsten Chandler, Joel Bishoff and other esteemed AMDA Faculty and Directors. Ezequiel graduated with honors and is ready to take on the world and all that it has to offer him.
